Guess who received the Harry Bower's Plaque for this years service award?
None other than John Kocsis himself. Presenting the annual award
to John was GEAAA president Bob Brooks. This came as a big surprise to
John. Even though he thinks someone else should have received it, he
conveys his thanks and said that it made him feel good to be nominated to
receive it.
Among the many who viewed this event, Ralph Hoyle at 90 years
young, was the most senior life member present. Then Ralph
was off to
compete in the Senior Olympics in Colorado.
